"Sensory aesthetics" are defined as the experiences that move us as human beings, through
taste, touch, sight, smell, sound and soul. Aesthetics are personal and subjective. They fill an emotional need or want in an individual.
Aesthetics have been a life-long passion of the creator of SensoryAesthetics.com, Jill Ambrose. The inspiration of this site
was developed in her pursuit to create and discover aesthetic adventures. In her quest, she found no one central source
for the curious aesthete. In addition, her philosophy regarding aesthetics is that it is more fun to share the treasures you
have discovered and/or created with others than to experience them by yourself.
The purpose of this site is to share information about
all facets of aesthetics and to explore through collaboration with others aesthetic experiences and all of the beauty that life
has to offer.
